Ages 8 - 10

Listen to a fractured fairy tale version of an old favorite and make your own Gritch the Witch!

You will be part of a team that will distribute refreshments and help with a party. This requires social interaction. You can wear a pajama robe if you like!

Pajama Night! Teens and adults in the Hundreds Club, stop by in your pj's for some cookies and book discussion on the second floor after the Library closes. We'll have trivia, games, and a pajama beauty contest.

Adults and teens are welcome to enjoy family-friendly tabletop games with the Moraine Valley Gamers.
 

For families with kids ages 5 and up.

Build to your hearts content on the Teen Minecraft Server, either online or in the Teen Room! Check in at the Teen Room to gain access to the server and discord. The fun is available all month.

Drop in for assistance with your computer, smartphone or other device at this weekly help session. 

Whether you like Monopoly, Uno, or Smash Bros, a game awaits you in the Teen Room! We offer a casual environment to learn new games and play old favorites. We also welcome you to bring your own! 

BYO needlework projects and stop by the Knit N’ Stitch with Jennifer Rodriguez and friends to enjoy conversation and crafting: crocheters, knitters, plus cross-stitchers and embroiderers welcome.

Stories, songs, and movement, supporting literacy development and learning in young children.

Get ready for games and crafts at this fun senior social hour from 10am to 11am. Paint a scenery of your choice from garden gnomes, a pumpkin patch, to a fall sunset or autumn leaves.

Bring your handicraft projects–crochet, knitting or sewing–and spend an hour enjoying conversation while your needles do the work.

Make films and learn what goes on behind the camera! This club of local filmmakers welcomes beginners.

Join in on anime and manga fandom at the library, or come and find a new favorite!

We'll share books, songs and activities, all to support early literacy and learning in a fun way! To promote independence, we encourage children to attend without adults.

Please join Gail Morales of Blissful Light for a fun and engaging beginner’s yoga class. The class is designed for participants to sit on mats on the floor. Please bring your own mat, if possible. Limited to 25 participants.

Short Stories Discussion Group meets every 2nd Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Mary Nelson Room. Pick up short stories at the Adult Reference Desk on the second floor, one month in advance.
