Week Calendar

Ages 18-36 months with an adult. 

Beach balls,  bouncy balls, balls galore! Join us for a playtime that encourages children to get active with a variety of ball-based activities. 

For families with children of all ages. 

Bring a blanket and enjoy stories and songs on the green. 

Outdoors if weather permits; indoors if the weather is inclement 

Grades 9-12

Need community service hours? Volunteer to help with programs if you enjoy spending time with young children and are good at working independently. We will meet at the Youth Services desk.

All ages

Foam Party All-Stars will get our summer started with music and lots of foam! Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. The program will be cancelled if the weather is inclement. 

Short Stories Discussion Group meets every 2nd Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Mary Nelson Room. Pick up short stories at the Adult Reference Desk on the second floor, one month in advance.

Drop in for assistance with your computer, smartphone or other device at this weekly help session.

Ages 6 and up

All skill levels are welcome to come and learn the game or get some practice! 

Bring your handicraft projects–crochet, knitting or sewing–and spend an hour enjoying conversation while your needles do the work.

Learn to create, save, open, print and make changes to documents in Microsoft Word.

Ages 11-14

Make a delightful charm attachment to accessorize your water bottle. 

Identify common scams a learn best practices for staying safe online. 

Interested in learning more about Alzheimer’s and other dementias?  This presentation will provide clear insights into these conditions, their differences, and the latest advancements in research and treatment.  Attendees will hear video

Join OLCHS teacher Eric Kallenborn and friends to play Commander at a casual level of play. Feel free to bring a competitive deck or two with you. We’ll also have decks for you to use if you don’t have your own deck.

Try a variety of chips and crisps from classic to exotic and vote on the best one (while supplies last)! 

Get creative with advanced design features in Microsoft Word. Requires basic computer skills.
